Tessa Harlo

Ms. Harlo has been a daycare provider for over 20 years.  She is also a dedicated owner of horses and other animals. She is committed to the A.N.N.A. mission to rescue abused animals and bring them to a safe haven. And also spends countless hours promoting and filtering the adoption process and applications.  She serves as Vice President on the Board.

Gary Bartlett 

Mr. Bartlett is a long-time owner of horses with hands-on experience raising and training horses with behavior and medical issues. Currently, Mr. Bartlett is a working with children with disabilities. Mr. Bartlett is an enthusiastic supporter in the development of A.N.N.A. Special Needs Animals, hoping to assist at-risk and special needs large animals. exercising compassion, and recognizing the value of an animal even if they are special needs.  He holds a chair position on the Board.

JR Christian 

Mr. Christian is a long-time owner and trainer with hands-on experience in handling and training aggressive or problematic dogs. Currently, Mr. Christian works with several police agencies in the NY Finger Lakes area. With a career in dog handling he brings to A.N.N.A. in-depth knowledge of behavior issues and temperament testing. Mr. Christian is an enthusiastic supporter in the development of the Punish the Deed, not the Breed Movement, hoping to teach people the need for responsible ownership and breeding, eliminating the business of fighting dogs, and recognizing the need for harsh consequences given to convicted animal abusers.  He holds a chair position on the Board.

Theresa Hogsett
Theresa is now President of the A.N.N.A. Board of Directors and is invaluable to this organization. She brings to the organization 10 years of volunteer and leadership experience, and many years of animal ownership and involvement.  She has a wealth of experience caring for abused animals and implementing interventions to reduce risk of maltreatment.She is a grant writer and is currently working on the Humane Farming movement in the U.S.  Ms. Hogsett oversees all day-to-day A.N.N.A. operations.
